Description

Orange Cranberry Sauce is a delightful blend of tart cranberries and zesty oranges, making it an irresistible addition to your holiday table or everyday meals. This vibrant condiment not only enhances roasted meats but also pairs beautifully with cheese platters and sandwiches. With its refreshing flavor, this sauce is a must-have for festive gatherings, ensuring your dishes sing with a burst of citrusy goodness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 2 orange slices, for garnish
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, sugar, orange juice, water, and orange zest.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat while stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Lower the heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until most cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely; the sauce will thicken further as it cools.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with orange slices and rosemary before serving.
